obtaining a new Typhon license, you have also purchased the 1-year maintenance
contract. This maintenance contract provides you the right to receive
upgrades and software fixes during the first year after the Typhon commissioning.
Contact your reseller for more information on the maintenance contract. Maintenance contract also give the user to get additional reduction when upgrading their Typhon server to a new version. Jix Solutions only gives 2nd line of support to servers with a maintenance contract. All Jix Solutions' 1st line of support is given through resellers. |

| Answer: | Applying upgrades of services or applying software fixes is very easy and straightforward. It does not require any technical knowledge of Linux or open source in order to apply them. Go to the menu Services and Updates and click on Updates. In this screen you'll find all the latest available software packages or services which are available for your system. Select the service you would like to upgrade and the Typhon will automatically upgrade itself. |

No, new services or newly available software fixes are not applied automatically. It is the administrator who has to select the services that need to be installed. Only then the upgrades onto the Typhon will be executed. The administrator remains at all time the sole manager of the Typhon system. |

It's sufficient to apply the latest upgrades as being displayed in the
